What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

For years I've paid membership to AAA and never used them. Yesterday, that membership paid for itself. I called them for a tow and they were here within two hours, hooked the truck up, and away we went to the Ford dealer in Lakeview, Oregon - 57-miles away. The rate charge for a tow in my area is ten dollars a mile so normally the charge for this tow would have been $570.00 dollars but AAA picked up the whole tab so it was a free tow for me. The tow truck driver did a couple extras for me as to positioning the truck for loading so I tipped him $50.00 . Turns out the fuel pump was bad so they're going to replace it and the fuel filter. I've known the break pads were wearing thin so I'm having them do the breaks all the way round - Ca-ching!!! That'll be a few bucks. I'll carry this Sod-Buster today. A nice low bucks knife. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

Glad things worked out Ed. You will be back to the Wagon in no time.
Nice example of a sod buster.👍🏻

Uh oh. I may have figured out how to attach pics. Thanks for the suggestions to those who suggested.
I won’t name you so noone knows who to blame.

I brought this virginal Schrade Walden 293 Trapper along when Mrs. Amir Ribwound hauled me off to the hospital.
Glad you have it working to show your great collection Jeff. I hope you came out better than when you entered!.

This last night thinking that church supper was going to be a reprise of church lunch, but no. Supper was pizza, no cutting needed.

This for the eye doctor this morning. I'm not sure she even has a "no weapons" sign, though she's associated with the same hospital as all my other docs.

These for the rest of the day.

You can't have enough straight edges IMO.

When you mature to a certain age, you’ll learn to appreciate a little belly.

Oh. You’re talking about knife blades, aren’t you?
Today is going to be an interesting day.

Two of my boys have paediatric appointments in the city, because we’re country folk and 2 1/2hr away they moved the appointments back to back which is handy. We got here last night at around 10 and the boys were thoroughly over tired. Finally got them down and the young one was up again at 2am. i finally got back to sleep at 5, then at 6 the older one woke us all up 🥲 🥱. Currently they’re watching cartoons until my wife and I can rouse ourselves out of our overtired stupor.

It is my birthday though so maybe if I can stay awake tonight we might get some nice takeaway. There’s a great new thai place back home that a Thai family opened up.

Good company for the day anyway!

Good company makes for a good birthday, Jack.

That’s awfully nice of you to say, Bob.

The only benefit in going to the hospital was finding out bones aren’t cracked. Only time can fix whatever I did, though.
