What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A beautiful post. I'm so sorry to hear about your family's loss. We had to lay my grandmother to rest unexpectedly this week also. I know it's a devastating event & will be hard on all your family, but as you've stated, support from family & friends will be a great help in this difficult time. It's great that y'all had such a good time at your son's wedding & I'm sure there's plenty more memories to cherish of the time y'all spent together. Keep those memories alive & continue to make new ones.
Sending smoke & prayers for your family.

So sorry for your loss. I hope you remember fondly, the wisdom that I'm sure, she shared with all.

Wood you believe it one of these is curving the wrong way,but which one?

Better play the "Same old blues again"recent new LS record and a new secound better condition copy of Roxy Music.

Ian Curtis watching over proceedings, I used to have a painting my old GF did of Jimi Hedrix doing that job.

I must find it again someday it was very good, but dont you go telling her that. 🤣

You’re giving me vertigo again Johnny!

A fellow Roxy Music fan although I prefer post-Eno albums.

Sorry for your loss. When my mom and dad passed away a few years ago, I committed myself to finding something to smile or laugh about every day. It has helped me greatly. (Even if I am laughing about something dumb I did).
Thanks. I'm sorry to hear of your parents passing. That's good advice. We all brought up the good & humorous times at the service & it goes along way toward helping ease the pain.

Thank you & yes we absolutely do. She left a big imprint on all of us & all who knew her. She was one of a kind.
I dropped the ball, supposed the be Stag Saturday.
You're not alone, I did too lol

I hope you all find the treasures you never knew you needed. 🤣🤣 But most of all, enjoy the camaraderie! Cheers 🍻

“Treasures you never knew you needed” 🤣 Love it. They should put that on a banner and hang it over the door to the show. 😎👍
Todd, I really enjoyed hanging out with you and the other guys.
Seriously nice folks.
And I’m glad you finally parted with some of that allowance money.
Enjoyed hanging with everyone too Jeff, but now I have to get an advance on next month’s allowance! 🤣
Sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy the weekend, Todd. So cool to be able to go to a knife show with other forum members. Is that a new addition from the show?
Thanks Bart. Yes this is the only knife I bought this year, a pre war Schrade made Maher & Grosh. Nice one.
I haven’t been posting here much lately as I was spending my time posting in the Barlow challenge. The challenge is done so I carried this 1977 Case yesterday. I carried my 14 beer cub today but didn’t take a picture.

P.S. Thank you all for the kind words & support. They mean a lot. Y'all are what make this place such a great place to be apart of.
Hope everyone is doing well on the porch!

Well, it's been a heck of a week. Since last Monday, I completely lost my swallow except for thin liquids. I've even had to crush and dissolve all medicines to take them so, it's been coffee and my liquid diet chow.

Things are looking up a bit this morning and I may try pureeing sausage and scrambled eggs in our Vitamix blender this morning.

The highlight of the week was that I got my truck out of the shop. Had to put a new fuel pump and fuel filter in it and had the break pads on all four corners replaced. Cost me $1300.00 for the whole shebang - Can't help but think of all the cans of Spam I could have bought for that kind of money. Saaaayyyyyy, I wonder if I can puree Spam in the Vitamix?
Glad to see you posting again Modoc ED Modoc ED
I hate to hear of your health troubles, I hope you get to feeling better soon. As for the pureed Spam.... Let us know how that goes... 🤔🤣

I'll be carrying the Sod Buster Jr. pictured above as it's the knife I always carry when on my Nestle Fibersource.
I hope you recover soon and are feeling better 🤗
