Unique combo Paul.👍🏻 Looks like Ken builds a fine knife.

Two in my pocket, one on my belt.
A three bladed Klein Electrician, and for Woodnesday, my Loewenmesser and Green River. View attachment 2443620View attachment 2443621View attachment 2443622The latter two were given to me by @Old Engineer and sunknife sunknife last year.
A bit of lore I learned while looking at old knife catalogs online last night ~ The knife companies, Schrade in this case, showed their curved blade knives in the Electrician Knives section. As a gardener, I always called that a Hawkbill or Pruner, but Schrade called it a Skinner, intended for skinning cables. And I used to roll my eyes at ebay sellers who called a Hawkbill a Skinner🤔
Awesome Green River! Did it get it's patina on it's own or did you do something to help it age so well?

I didnt like this pattern when it first came out, now its a favourite.

The wood on this is stunning, easy pinch open is a big bonus for me me as well when my hands are hurting.

I have shortened the lanyard which both looks and works better.

More motorbikes out today but I didn't feel jealous as I don't feel quite recovered enough to ride yet, hopefully in April I will be.

Mr Jeff - that’s a really nice looking 194, is it a customized 194OT? I can’t read the tang stamp, but I love the jigged scales.
You could call that a Parts Knife.
A few yrs ago, I bought a package deal on the auction site. Two Schrade 194s together for about ten dollars. The later model with the sawcut Old Timer delrin had a broken spring, but a nice blade.
The older one, with the jigged delrin scales, had a good spring, but a broken blade.

That is awesome! Greg sunknife sunknife built that up from a blank, and presented me with it last year. It has a full flat grind and is thin enough that it shines on food. I presume it’s just good carbon steel, it holds it’s edge all day if you’re not dumb with it. I’ve mostly used it in the garden, and kitchen, so that dark patina is all food. Probably the acid in the tomatoes that made it so dark. It’s almost like it was parkerized or blued.

A quick check of the tuning on my homebrew Telecaster copy while the flock filters in to their pews.

Hibbard Spencer & Bartlett Barehead Jack. Love at first sight. It was one of the first ones I inspected. Put it back twice, but kept coming back to it. Greg was laughing at me, and egging me on. “You know you want it. And it might be gone if you come back for it.”

My Badger Blade Show purchase. As usual, I spent my allowance with Mike at the first booth inside the door. Right after Harry found his Pumas.
