I’m sure there are others. At least a few, but you and I are the only ones I remember totin the Johnny On The Spot Linesman.

It’s a superb knife, but let’s don’t let anybody know.

This one is actually a Cuban cattle knife. However, I agree with your take on the 53E lineman. It is very useful, with the two sheepsfoot blades it's the blue collar muskrat.

two changes.
Stockman from a (US) 8OT to a Ka-Bar 1108.
Lockback from a (US) 7OT with 1095 blade, to a 60th Anniversary Buck 110 😍 I received today in a suprise package from DocJekl DocJekl . (thank you again.)
Both have Rosewood covers.

The 110 is in the scratch proof old style stud closure sheath I had the 7OT in.

My boring old reliable SAK climber for pocket carry today.

My work in progress knives as well. (Mods let me know if these aren't traditional and I will remove) The 3 knives picture is after they came out of a boiled vinegar bath. The red Micarta handled one will be my pocket fixed blade carry whenever I can get it finished (hopefully today).

Going lightweight today. This bugger will be plenty, Sawcut green bone SS Peanut.

Heading out to bury my father.
There will be a lot weight on me today regardless.

My thoughts are with you. A time of life difficult for all. 🙏
