I "think" I "fixed" it ... somewhat ... got the pull down to around "7".I was wondering about that on mine.
Main is noticably stiffer/heavier than the other two ... About an "8" to "8.5"? after lubing. The other two are a "5".
The three on my hollow bolster Imperial, and Imperial Frontier are all a "5", so I was wondering if my 8OT was "defective" concerning the stiff pull on the main.
I don't need a pick to open it, but it is somewhat disconcerning. Enough so I am more likely to carry one of the Imperials, or my vintage 858, which has a "5" pull on all the blades. I don't particularly like wrestling or fighting with my knife to open it.

Suggestion:
Truth be told we used to keep all those tasty pan fry perch until we were advised that society as whole should let them grow. Thanks it's the first one I ever cought I cought about 20 today and put them all back .I'm after some bigger ones next time
I've eaten some small fish myself and I would never try discourage a man from bringing a few fish home for dinner. Its the large scale offshore fishing and the people useing huge nets in the rivers that are depletion fish population here in IrelandTruth be told we used to keep all those tasty pan fry perch until we were advised that society as whole should let them grow.

Tiny two-blade and Tidioute Tuesday. I was packing up this lovely Brooks saddle I sold on Feebay (sad to sell an old friend, but my arse prefers the Team Pro to this B-17, plus the hammered copper rivets on the Team Pro are bigger). I needed some cardboard with holes punched in it to hold zip ties and protect the saddle from box-wear. Luckily, I came prepared! The awl makes lovely holes in cardboard! I was smiling by this point in time. Grabbed the PSK (fixed blade) and started slicing the cardboard to fit, and I thought of how this would make JeffAmir Fleschwund wince. I smiled even bigger and cut some more pieces

Ironwood Wednesday. The 74 has really surprised me, it was outside my wheelhouse and I bought it after a big sale and a few drinksIt has quietly, handily, become the only single blade GEC that I carry on a regular basis.

Three-blade Thursday, or not-very thrifty Thursday. Cheered me up for sure, we all know how *amazing* Dave's work is (don't we?!).

Friday Forum knife / favorite functional pair. I am so amazingly grateful for this 34, which continues to grow on me with use. I even like the splintery bone that is slowly disintegrating where my knife bangs against things through my pocket. If we don't get a forum knife this year, I'll just fondle this one and be happy.
Make this weekend the best it can be Porchsters!
