What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Currently the holder of the pass around box here on the porch. Carrying one of my picks from it for today, an IXL Barlow lamb. It's my first English Lambsfoot & it doesn't disappoint 😉
Here it helped out making a bouquet for Mrs. Hoovie. It makes short work of flower trimming.

Ed, I’m sure you know the routine. One doctor’s appointment after another. Hopefully by the end of this week they will have some definitive results and treatment options. My brother is coming in on Friday and he’ll be ready to kick the tires and light some fires! 🤞
I wish you luck Dan. 👍🏻
I always dread July, because that is when the interns are let loose. My sister in law has battled with a few of them concerning my brother. Like you, we have a few doctors in the family.

Good luck, Dan 🤞🙏

A beautiful MAM, Sir. I love the patina. 😍👍

Looks so much classier (to my eyes) than the new ones (like mine) equipped with a "STAIN LESS" blade. 👎
Carbon Steel is no longer an option. ☹️👎

Question:
Which in your experience slices better? MAMA or Opinel?

I "think" MAM is the winner ... also carries a little better in the pocket, thanks to the flat sides, IMHO.

Thanks, Steve.👍
Although I like older Portuguese knives, my preference is for stainless steel, as I don't have to be careful about cleaning them often (I like a blade that's always shiny).
In terms of cut, for me there is no difference between MAM and Opinel.;)
