What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Barrett, the "grain" or "thread pattern" or whatever it's called for micarta is outstanding on your GL-24!! An infinity symbol or crazy eight, depending on orientation.

Thanks, GT! :thumbsup:

A candlestick will light the way up interminable stairs to your bed-chamber of a night but a small three blade knife will help you open all manner of packets of snacks and treats once comfortably installed.... :D

Which Dickens novel is that a quote from? 🧐😁

Does anyone know why my options for posting pictures and links are grayed out and how to fix it? I've never had this happen. Any help appreciated.

Check and see if this brackets icon is selected, that could be your problem.

Charming mini copperlock and cool photo, Dan! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I haven't seen very many of those squirrels with ebony covers! 🤓

Notable pair, Steve! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I always admire your bright sunshine photos that rarely have the highlights and reflections that always plague my sunshine photos.

You didn't use that poor little critter to check if your edge was sharp enough to shave hair, did you, Pat? :eek:🤓

Double your pleasure... Double your fun with... Double post, not gum.
Sorry, that old jingle popped into my head.

Today's carry is an "almost canoe" Butterbean with the correct shape but with a small sheepsfoot instead of a pen blade. 1980 Taylor cutlery, made in Japan, with very nice elk covers. Fit and finish is very good, a little bit wonky in the action, but overall a fun knife to have in the pocket.

Intriguing canoe variation, Frank! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
I have a Schatt & Morgan canoe with sheepsfoot/pen blade combo:

These two from the 70’s with some snacks for the critters.

Hercules is back on belt loop.
Classic Case canoe! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

That Ka-bar copperhead on the upper right is a LOT of knife! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Monumental micarta pair, Steve! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
I also like the "curb cut mat" background; but I'm sure that's not the correct terminology. Do you happen to know what those knobby sidewalk "inlays" are called? I think they're related to ADA laws? (Is the one in your photo from Neenah Foundry in Wisconsin?)

I really love this one Bob. The bone is so well done. Is this Cullpepper or does he do his own? Stunning.

I also love the shield. Lookin’ sharp 👌🏼.
I'm beginning to think I was wrong about the scales. I saw JW225 has one by another maker, with similar scales.
I will have to ask him.

Edit: Having contacted Ben, I was informed Cullpepper did those scales.
