What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I've hit the point in my knife life that I only care about traditionals, fixed blades, and multitools. The best and most advanced folding knives were all I wanted and had in the beginning and now I have none unless you consider a Leatherman a folding knife.

I've done a bit of research on this, and it seems a lot of knife enthusiasts hit this point as well over time. Anyway, I have a 62 Easy Congress in Stag arriving this week, I will post a picture when it is in hand.
Welcome
Modern knives seemed sterile to me after awhile. That is the reason I migrated to these threads. 👍🏻 You will find many great people here with an encyclopedia of knowledge.

Went for a little adventure today. I brought my new Case 47 in carbon steel, Case did a good job on this specific knife. Visited an area that my father and I used to go to a lot, in a decade not much has changed. I think this overlook is new and in town the sporting goods store isn't in the back of the grocery store anymore, it's now in a separate building.
I live near Little Buffalo State Park. Colonel Denning & Doubling gap aren't very far from here.

Off to Lakeview, Oregon in a bit for another one of those pesky appointments with the doctor for Cindy. Sausage and eggs for breakfast before we go. It'll be an Ebony Sowbelly for this adventure.

Happy Birthday, my friend.
Stuck this big ole thing (4 1/4") in my pocket. Mixed info, but it was either made by Queen with rams horn from Canal Street or made by Canal Street entirely. 🤷‍♂️ Aside from the etch, I dig it. 😎 She's snappy! 💪🏻

Yesterday I posted some disparaging comments about blade etches prompted by my Rabbit Knife.
However, for every rule, there’s an exception.
I miss the now invisible all-seeing Taylor’s Eye on my Lambsfoot.
Trying to decide what knifes to take to Spain next week.

I thought I would maybe take my San Francisco Sudbuster for food prep in the hotel rooms.

You will remember on one of my previous trips I used the screwdriver blade to tighten up some loose screws in my accomadation.

The joy in finding a proper use for it was somewhat over the top you might say. 😁

I took it for a coffee at the chocolate cafe in Henley on Thames (full of posh people,I stick out like a sore thumb). 😇

While waiting I used my 77 SAK soldier to make an adjustment to my new jacket,OK all I did was cut the zip pull off as it was slapping me in the face as I rode along.😅

They spelt morons wrong. ;)

No. Take nothing but the Soldier. You will need the room for Spanish knives.
Terrific twosome, Jeff! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thank you!
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Looking forward to seeing your classy Catt Jeff. I keep expecting to see it every day and so far it's a no go. ;) 😊
98 degrees here this afternoon. 🥵
Appreciate the nudge. Tomorrow it is then.
Thanks!
Yeah, it’s late August. Just revel in it. Let the sweat flow and soak through your clothes. Try to store and bank it internally.
Remember it in January.😱
