What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Oldie from late 70s early 80s iirc. I need to dye or rescale this thing. It's s on the list.

Looks fine as is, to me.
It is and I've enjoyed it this way but I also want to play and the white just feels idk "off". And I love wood look and make stuff in wood so I have stuff lying around, and it's fun to play but yeah ... Why not. And it may not happen anytime soon anyway

Yesterday I posted some disparaging comments about blade etches prompted by my Rabbit Knife.
However, for every rule, there’s an exception.
I miss the now invisible all-seeing Taylor’s Eye on my Lambsfoot.
Agreed! It's funny how we don't until we do. 😁 Etches: Pfft!!! I have too many other things to worry about! You know: On a scale from switchblade to machete... How's the pull??? Can you see any sunlight through the gaps???🤣

New arrival straight into the pocket. Really love the cocobolo on this one, and this size is great. Slim, full grip, no hot spots using either blade. My only change would be a coping blade instead of the pen, but other than that this pattern is superb. I haven’t purchased a knife in close to a year (surprisingly)… glad I pulled the trigger on this one though!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like a shell handled knife? How hard is it going to be to rehandle it in wood? Have you done this before? I suppose the wood handle could be glued on 🤔
If nothing else you've got me thinking before noon :p
Take pics when you do it

Today I'll post photos of a couple of knives I bought last month that have cover materials that are rare among the knives I own. One of the knives is an aluminum stockman I showed earlier this week, and the other is a brass knife with cowboy themes on each side and a single spey blade.

I am personally very fond of this pattern, especially in natural wood. I wasn’t super keen on the blue one they initially released. May just have to find one.
