Totally agree! What doesn’t necessarily come through in photos is how slim these are. Just so easy in the pocket, yet substantial at the same time. One of my favorites. It's just perfect to pocket carry IMO.

Are you kidding me???!!! Absolutely AWESOME photo, Dan. Wow!!! And that Lamb is fantastic, too!
Very cool. Shield is a bit different size otherwise similar. Mine has some kind of lacquer looking finish on it that started peeling off that was quite annoying to feel so I tried to rub it all off and that's when the white edged really came out.I have one very similar to that, but it still has most of its "brown skin". I'll post a pic of it that even has orange in it.
I have another old Imperial that has lost a lot of its color, like yours, and another that's lost its covers entirely, and I like them all.

Is your Ranger wearing Mexican Bocote?

Thanks much, Gary! Now shut off the electronics, rent a boat, and take your bride for a ride. Thanks for the info on generational runners, Rob.
My first knife, and only knife for over 50 years, was a Colonial Forest-Master scout; I think that's probably the reason a spearpoint blade is my favorite (even though when I first came to BF, I had brief "flings" with other blade shapes I'd never met before).
Excellent photo of a splendid knife, Greg!
Good advice to @Johnnythefox , Jeff. When I visited my daughter in Spain almost 10 years ago, I had a few knives in my checked bag for the flight, but after my first visit to a cuchilleria, all I carried was a Taramundi I bought there. Then I bought at least 6 other knives in different Spanish cities - great souvenirs/mementos!

I like your Imperial Ireland, especially the shield molded right into the handle.
Bob & Mike & Jeff, each of you posted notable pairs of knives!
That's a handsome knife, and it looks very handy, too!
Jim your Michigan Lambigator sowbelly is outstanding!
That's my experience with knives, too, Jon. I tend to like whatever knife I'm using, and usually I like 'em more the more I use them.
Kind of reminds me of an old song titled "Love the One You're With"; I thought it promoted a detestable approach to romantic relationships, but it describes my knife relationships quite accurately!
Another impressive photo, Greg!
And I agree with you on the quality of RR sowbelly stockman models. I have at least 10 of them, and IMHO they're just as useful as the sowbellies I have from other companies, including Case and Winchester (Black Box).
That osage orange "punch whittler" is a winner, FC!
Nice father/son shot, Patrick!
Your 93OT Wrangler is a fine knife helping you consume some fine fare!

Hope you find some relief Mike.I had a rough night last night. I tweaked my lower back while mowing and then while trying to accomodate my lower back, managed to cause my upper back to join the partyFinally fell asleep around 3 A.M. My neck seems to be ok so far this morning. I've been moving around some and my lower back seems to be loosening up some. Oddly the discomfort has moved from the spine to right side which I take as very good sign
I'm leaving in few moments to drop my car off at the shop to get the oil changed, tires rotated, and have a faulty wheel sensor replaced. While that's being done, I'm off to shoot pool. I'm not too sure how that will go. Shooting pool with a tweaked back is probably a bad ideaAll that stretching will either help, or...not
If it doesn't work out to well, I'll have a beer and a seat and harass the guys
That said, the morning has been great so far. Fresh from the mailbox

I normally carry a SAK to the pool game, but I think I may have to slip this one in my pocket today![]()
Thank you Jeff. Glenn's stag, Eric's skill, a Lamb Foot; doesn't get any better. That is some very noteworthy stag there your self.Gorgeous stag, Tim! Eric is the MAN. I've got some decent stag for today as well.
