What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Our AC unit gave up Tuesday so been a rough last few days trying to get by with a portable unit and some creative use of fans until they can get a whole new unit installed. Should have been Friday, but rain kept them from being able to so Tuesday is our next hope.

On the plus side, this new (to me) 47 in 440C that I picked up out of the amazing collection of black mamba black mamba has been an absolute treat.
It’s a well-loved knife, but it has a massive amount of good blade and life left in it, and it’s been a joy to carry and use. It’s been in my top 3 knives to get, and not having to worry about actually carrying and using it is a plus for me!

Also have to give credit to my special alox Pioneer. I put this in my back pocket every day and have for probably more than 10 years. Having no bail loop on this version has made all the difference for me too.

Not toted for a while. Light-weight and hardly noticed in the shorts pocket on a lazy, wet afternoon.

I had to go allllll the way back, 😖 to see that you Primbilized it.🫤😂
Nice Rob.👍🏻

🤣 🤣 🤣 I reckon I could have said that and saved you going all the way back. 🤣
It took me extra time to read that backward branding iron you posted this morning.🤣 and Sacto didn't even show ! 🤣
................. or maybe those lambs with fangs scared him off. 🐑 🤣
Nice totes for you today !:thumbsup:😊

Such a good little pattern! 😍

I agree and I should tote one or the other of the two I have more often. Maybe I will now that I worked them over. 😊

I’ve been after one for a while and there are not that many. I believe it was 3 runs of 25 for each cover material - amber jigged bone on my example, maroon micarta (which is would also absolutely love to find one day) and American Elk, and then they had a serialized run for each of the 3 covers as well if I’m not mistaken.

Pretty sure all versions only total out to about 150 knives in the wild, so they are not easy to come by.

My Boker which I pronounce Boker and not Boker as some do. 😁

I think this one may come to Spain with me as my little pocket carry, mainly as the blade is perfect for oppening my tablets (sad I know).🤭

When I saw the sign on the lamp I very nearly shouted out "medic".🤣

I had a coffee in a posh hotel today after sneaking into the private residents area, at well over £4 for a coffee I thought I deserved it.
