What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got a new EDC last week, so I took some crappy pictures:

Ka-Bar Coppersmith Large Lock back, with a Mad Blacksmith smooth black anodized pen clip lanyard.

It's been a while since I've carried an Opinel, but all the recent talk and photos got to me. I have this N[SUP]o[/SUP] 08 with olive wood handle in my pocket today.

Love the olive wood, good choice. They should offer some carbon variations with the more exotic woods.

This Eureka clip regrind has been in my pocket for a few days, and I just now gave it a coffee patina.

Thanks. I think the wood looks even better in person. It's hard to get the depth of the color variance to show up in pics. I personally like the INOX just as well as the Carbone, but I know that would make a lot of people here happy.

I like what you did with yours also. The simple construction and low cost make them fun to customize.

Jeff - you did a nice job with the blade on that Eureka. The only thing that has kept me from seriously considering one is that GEC's spear is not my favorite as a main blade on a knife. I much prefer a clip. If they ever made them with a clip like yours I think I'd pretty much have to get one. Everything else about it is a hit for me - frame shape, proportion and the coping secondary.

Speaking of nice clip blades, I carried my forum knife today.

Gary, what more could you want? That knife is cutlery perfection in a beautiful package!

If I'm lyin' I'm dyin'! :D

Gonna pack the new northfield antique green jig #73.... Fit n' finish are not as good as some recent stuff from GEC (Lots of light showing through the back spring and a big burr on the tang) , but still a keeper and a beautiful knife!

P.S.- This one is also a real bear trap! It'll work into a nice 7 pull...
