What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm carving a stick of birch and mourning. This is a labor of sorrow, our much loved dog was euthanized just some days ago. Still he lingers, he is in shadows, walking beside us on paths, at his favorite places at the yard, greeting us when we return home from work. Nudging us with his soft snout, his soft fur under our hands.

It's been a couple months since our last followed the rainbow. Still catch myself doing things. I try to remember the good. Best wishes.

Been carrying & using this beautiful CASE Redbone small Stockman for three days now. You can forget just how useful a small pattern can be:unobtrusive in the pocket, yet versatile blade assortment (Clip, Pen, Spey) This was a very thoughtful present from a thoughtful poster here

Camillus 14 for work for a change.

I enjoy carrying my Camillus 14. Haven't done that in a while...will have to remedy.

Very nice shot, great watch there is it still in order?

Thanks, Will

Thanks Will! Yes sir, still keeps very good time as long as it is wound daily (not sure beyond that -- I only let it run for two days). I found it in my dad's keepsakes after he passed earlier this summer. I'm fairly certain it was my granddad's watch (my dad didn't typically wear a watch as he was most likely to break it and I don't recall seeing this pocket watch on him).

Sunday's totes. 😊
I spent some time hand rubbing matching swedges on each side of the main blade on my Case Barlow, which I think gives it a higher quality look.
Pic of before below the now. I've been detailing my 83 Northfield out as well.

Amazingly great job! Of course this is Mr. P. so that's not shocking.

So sorry for your loss. As others have said it is incredibly difficult to lose a faithful companion. Best to you and yours, and may the hound long live sweetly in your memories.
