What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today's carry is a GEC #68 White Owl in 440C and Elk.
Someday I need to take a pic that actually does justice to this knife.

Great knife. Someday you should do a trade for it ;):D😍

I'm carving a stick of birch and mourning. This is a labor of sorrow, our much loved dog was euthanized just some days ago. Still he lingers, he is in shadows, walking beside us on paths, at his favorite places at the yard, greeting us when we return home from work. Nudging us with his soft snout, his soft fur under our hands.

So sorry for you loss. Dogs are the best, and it's so hard when they cross the river.

My September carry?
Case 6275CV Stockman 2015), 63131CV Canoe (2017), Guardians Lamb Foot (2019), Toferner (bought in 2021), Western 062 Folding Hunter (1980)

I tallked to the gent yesterday, that I got the 6375CV from.
As I suspected, the pocket worn Amber Peach Seed jigged bone covers are the result of 19 consecutive years daily carry.
Considering how the blades are still mostly full, I suspect he used the same year (finger groove) Buck 110 he has on his belt more often.

Please have a wonderful week. 😇👍

Nice picture
My condolences on the loss of your mate.

Canoes of the Week are a Böker Beer Barrel Canoe (thanks, Todd) and a Case burnt amber jigged bone TruSharp canoe with quad-lined bolsters (I got it for myself for either my 70th birthday or the Christmas that came less than a week later 3 years ago):

May you and your family find peace and comfort in his memories

It's been a couple months since our last followed the rainbow. Still catch myself doing things. I try to remember the good. Best wishes.
The good is what should be remembered. May it bring you peace and comfort
