What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm not sure what that one is, Jeff. It doesn't produce fruit, but then the persimmon by the other driveway doesn't produce fruit either. My tree identification skills are shakey at best. It might very well be some variety of persimmon.

Persimmon leaf on the left. Tree in question on the right. Peanut for scale 🤓

And for today's carry so far while on safari in my yard, the venerable, loved-by-everybody, Buck 110 in ebony and brass
Leaf looks like a water park but the bark is too rough.

Stopped by the Leighty’s Flea Market in Altoona, PA on my way down to DC for a 3-day meeting. Found a knife guy that had 3 Remington Bullet LE knives in boxes. I’m a sucker for these and will, one-day, complete a collection. From top-to-bottom:
- R1273 Master Guide (1995). Needs cleaning.
- R1123L Lock-Stock Barrel (2011). Mint.
- R4356 Bush Pilot (1993). Mint. Needs oiling.
- Boker USA Scout (1940-63)
- Schrade-made Snap-On 60th Anniversary (1980). Needs a gentle cleaning, being careful not to further degrade the scale etch.

It's been overcast & rainy this weekend here. I got the S&M Scout to help brighten things up a bit...

I went to the flea market with my father in-law this morning. (Funny coincidence SCFlyGuy SCFlyGuy )
I haven't been to one in years. I wound up taking these few home with me. A couple of Imperials, one Ireland & one Prov. R.I. along with an EZ open Klein tool that's been well used.
I couldn't resist this old meat tenderizer either, I thought it was cool to have a stacked leather handle. I'm planning on fixing it back up & putting to use. I don't know how it'll turn out, but that's part of the fun.
