What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Lake & Trail hobo knife. Seems to be a design flaw that the utensils can't be separated, but I know nothing about hobo cuisine. Maybe they prepare meals for which one never needs to use more than one utensil at a time. I rarely have an eating utensil in each hand, but I rarely have meat that needs to be cut on my plate.

Lambsfoot of the Week is LamBarJack, my rosewood Hartshead Barlow, a Jack Black SFO from 2019:

Another foggy start to the day here in the City by the Bay! Hopefully it will clear up by mid afternoon when the Blue Angels are scheduled to fly 🤞. Keeping me company with a nod to Stag Saturday the usual lamb and Viper that has beautiful stag covers. Have a great weekend folks! 😀

I like the way wild gooseberies turn color.

The sumac is a bit flamboyant.
Will Power said it was antler knife day.

Thank you Gary. I imagine that giant mouse knife comes in very handy. I didn't realize that you had a matching slip for it ! 👍😍😊
If you get to feeling too humble, go get one of your Halfrich folders and you'll be fine. ;)🤣

Can I have my knives back yet? 🫴 😐🤣

Just keep watching your mailbox.😍🤣

I can’t make out the stamp on the Jack, but I like it.
That said, the SW is ~ insert superlative advective here ~ .

Thank you Jeff. They are both products of the old Schrade Cut. Co.😊

Sneaky SaturD/A with some gorgeous stag on this Dual Action conversion by Alex Shunnarah (@a.r.s.knives on IG) of a '97 Case XX "Copperlock" ...I'm absolutely thrilled with how it came out!😁

Rain,rain,rain,rain,rain and some more rain.

Then the Sun came out at the same time as the icecream van made his last hurrah of the season.

I put down my warmest winter woolen sit mat and gloried in the Sun and a bit of peace in my back garden.

Loose change I keep in a coin purse from one of my previous road trips abroad,I love using stuff that has some meaning however small.

After I stripped bark of a new wooden, walking pole I am making.

It came from last years knife show, surely one of the simplest traditional utilitarian knifes around. 😍

A profund thanks to my friend Jeremy. Once again, he shares the deep values of all the fine people here.
He graciously gifted me my first whittler and two of his hand crafted offerings. The slip and card carrier are very well made and will be part of my daily carries.🙏
