I hope you timed it well for the fall colors, great season to be up there.Mrs. Hoovie & I returned home from the upper part of the country late yesterday. We spent the week up in Vermont. It's a beautiful part of the country & we're glad we made the trip.
We spent a good bit of time at the local farms (apple orchards, creameries & maple farms). This one maple farm just started to do horse tours on their property. It was definitely a fun time. The carriage ride was partially "off road" we were going up old mountain trails where they harvested from their trees. Some of the trail a 4x4 vehicle would have an interesting time with. But those Belgian horses pulled the cart like it was no big deal.

I've been carrying a Case Sodbuster Jr for most of the week. I posted it previously.
We did stop by an antique store where I found this old Camillus Grandaddy Barlow.

I carried the Camillus the rest of the trip & before we left I stopped by the post office to mail it back home. I didn't want to take the chance of loosing it to the TSA.
Well now that we're back home the real fun begins... The unpacking

Have a great weekend y'all!
Oh yeah, everything looked amazing up there with all the colors changing. Even better we got there early Monday so the crowd wasn't as bad, once Friday hit & when we left Saturday it was insanely crowded!I hope you timed it well for the fall colors, great season to be up there.
Very nice knife find, as well.![]()

Nice bone and the pinched bolster really sets it apart.
