Here’s to all you knife toters!
And speaking of Serpentine Jacks…
When I was looking for Schrade 294s, I found my Primble Belknap like yours. Even though it shows a little more use than yours, it’s got that nice peachseed bone. I tote a 294 quite often, but usually one of my delrin ones. I rarely drop a knife, but I’d much rather drop delrin than that fine old bone.
I was actually looking at one of those not long ago.Not even the angle I was heading for. Although a CRK fixed blade in a small of the back sheath would work.
It was my pleasure Gary. The knife I'm posting tonight is NOT one of the knives assigned to me this week by my weekly rotation schedule. It IS a knife that's been hanging out on the kitchen counter for the past couple of months. I've used it frequently for food prep during that time.
BobRufus1949 hosted a GAW/contest in the Guardians of the Lambsfoot thread back in the second half of August. He offered a fantastic lambsfoot as a prize to the participant who submitted the closest estimate to the number of coffee beans Bob had in a wine glass. I did NOT win that contest.
In fact, my estimate was the worst of any participant, and Bob graciously offered me a "worst guess" prize to console me for my ineptitude. Soon after Labor Day, I received the Böker Barlow shown below.
I'm not generally a big fan of the Barlow pattern, although the @Jack Black SFO Hartshead lambsfoot Barlow is hard for me to keep out of my pocket. And I've always admired these Böker Barlows with the tree bolster stamp (this one with the clip main is model 493), so this generous gift from Bob has provided me much consolation. Thanks again, Bob, for your thoughtful generosity!

I might have to "borrow" this. It is so true
I wonder what the leeks will get paired with? Whatever the pairing, I know it will be tasty.
The rabbit hole is self filling and calling you.I was actually looking at one of those not long ago.The "backpacker", I think it was.
One of Queen's best scales, I put the WCSB above ACSB but both ruleQueen Cutlery #20

Two beauties, Jon. Love the handles on both.
That Boker tree is one of my favorite bolster stamps. The knife I'm posting tonight is NOT one of the knives assigned to me this week by my weekly rotation schedule.
