Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings dated it as 1830-37.
Mr. Jack, however, has said that Goins was not correct on dating some of the Sheffield made knives.
I have never seen any other knife publication that even comes close to giving the information Goins gave us.

Sheffield knives did not have England included in the tang stamp until the US passed the country of origin marking law in 1891. And even then, they often did not have England for knives not intended for sale in the US. This has been discussed many times in Bernard Levine's subforum. To quote BRL himself:

"Country of origin markings date any item after 1/1/1891."

I finally decided to give that yellow Buck 305 a break, but I was busy this week and haven't had a chance to take / post a picture of this weeks carry.

allergies were thoroughly kicking my butt las week and I didn't end up carrying the Moki B&T much so I decided to stick with it for this week.
