What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We had "Utah" the doxie cremated and her ashes should be coming home today or tomorrow. We did the same with Coco. I just didn't/don't have the strength or stamina to did a hole especially, a hole big enough for a german shepherd sized dog such as Coco was. Sausage and eggs for breakfast. It's a 2010 Buck 501 Squire in a belt sheath for today's carry.

Will you spread her ashes somewhere she liked to be or keep them?

A cloudy start to the day here in the City by the Bay! No big plans for the weekend just some football and hoops. Keeping me company with a nod to Black Friday the usual lamb and a Rider. Got the $5 bill in change the other day and it didn’t look quite right. Upon closer inspection it’s not. Have a great weekend folks! 😀View attachment 2762607View attachment 2762608A cloudy start to the day here in the City by the Bay! No big plans for the weekend just some football and hoops. GT, How do you like that RR Classic Carbon bi-blade Folding Hunter?

I think it looks great (aside from the RR "Brand" they been putting on the bolster for a while now.) I like that the blades don't have the unnecessary and (to my eyes) ugly double pulls.

I am "thinking" of getting one this year ... if still in production when I get around to it. There are other things I need more, such as a 7 speed trigger shifter, and a basic wireless cycle computer, for my adult trike, and some archery arrows, and field points, an arrow stop .... 😊
I like the RR carbon Folding Hunter very much, although it's "overkill" for the sorts of things I typically use it for when it comes up on my rotation schedule.

I know my photos aren't always very clear, Steve, and if your eyes are anything like mine, they don't always see everything there is to see. But if you look at that photo I posted this morning, you'll see that the folding hunter DOES have the silly "double pulls". Not a deal breaker for me, but certainly not a feature I welcome.

That little spey blade looks handy, GT! 👍
Thanks, Chris. :) I like the design of jacks that have 1 big blade and 1 small blade, so I think of this particular mini trapper as being an "improved" mini trapper. It actually started life as a mini trapper with a clip blade and a cap lifter that Jeff black mamba black mamba had, and he arranged to have the cap lifter swapped with the spey blade of a Case sowbelly stockman he had. That turned his sowbelly into his legendary Beerbelly Stockman. He generously sent me the clip/little-spey mini trapper "by-product"!!:cool::thumbsup:
