Thanks, Chris. I like the design of jacks that have 1 big blade and 1 small blade, so I think of this particular mini trapper as being an "improved" mini trapper. It actually started life as a mini trapper with a clip blade and a cap lifter that Jeff black mamba had, and he arranged to have the cap lifter swapped with the spey blade of a Case sowbelly stockman he had. That turned his sowbelly into his legendary Beerbelly Stockman. He generously sent me the clip/little-spey mini trapper "by-product"!!

We have a pack of raccoons (formally called a “gaze” of raccoons when in a group don’t ya know) and a passel of possums who frequent our back deck in Dallas. Might have something to do with the cat food my fair lady puts out daily for the feral cats that are slowly taking over our lives. I may try some photoshopping to integrate with my knife collection!

A cool 45 degrees outside today in the City by the Bay! Supposed to get up to 57 for the high today. Time for some playoff football. I’m going with KC and the Lions to make it to the SB. Don’t really have a favorite but I wouldn’t bet against KC. Keeping me company with a nod to Stag Saturday a fancy lamb and a Mustang. Have a great weekend folks!

Other than Washington-Tampa Bay, the NFL playoff games last week were pretty lopsided. I should hope for more competitive matches today, but I hope KC and the Lions blowout their opponents. It'll be easier on my heart

Dave, I don't think there's a thread about it, but if you use the "Search" function at top right of this page to search "This Forum" for the word "Beerbelly" posted by black mamba you'll get links to lots of posts that contain the knife. I think it was first posted in April 2018.
