What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Running on a power nap right now. It's been a long 40 hr weekend...
Still got responsibilities, so now it's playtime with our hound. The S&M HJ "Pickle" is my pocket companion for the rest of the day.
I don't know how long the squeaky gummy bear will last though...😂

Wear the "puppy" out and both of you can pile up in your recliner for another nap

I've had this extended illness going on and as a consequence I haven't been to Tennessee since the first week of October. This has been weighing on me. I tend to worry about it. So I got to feeling a little better this weekend and decided to make a quick trip to Tennessee. Normally I drive it in one day, but I didn't feel up to a 565 mile drive, so I drove to Huabstadt, Indiana and got a hotel, which is where I am now. My usual travel knife is a Vic Cadet. That's the red one. Nice, slim, useful tools 👍

Being a silver lining, glass half full* kind of guy, one benefit on this illness is I've lost about 15 pounds. I kept having to pull my pants up every time I got out of the car, so the first thing I did when I got in the room was dig out my Pioneer X and drill a new hole in my belt. Nobody wants to see an old geezer's pants fall down 😱

I'm mostly off the grid in TN, so I'll see y'all next week.

*Old engineer joke, you've probably all heard:

A pessimist sees the glass as half empty;
An optimist sees the glass as half full;
An engineer thinks the glass is twice as big as it needs to be 🤣
Hope you shake whatever big you have.

You're a good dad to dig down deep for your pup. Nice S&M!👍🏻
Thanks Bob!
Our hounds need & deserve the same amount of love & loyalty that they give to us. We just try our best to match what they give.
That S&M tear drop HJ is one of my favorites. It feels great in the hand & is very useful with the blade & punch. Not to mention it's in a favorite color of mine 😉

I hope you can get everything sorted out & start to feel better Mike.

On a brighter note, great use of the Vic punch 😉👍

Excellent, did you add some black with the red

Today I started planning my new garden design. I’m going to increase the height of the garden beds because kneeling down is wearing on my back. I think I’ll split the beds into 3 separate areas so I can reach everything a little easier.

Studyin up. New laws, or the loosenin of them more properly, means new plants in the garden this year 🟢🟢🟢
Keep an even keel Tim & don't tread too far into new & unknown waters, as far as new laws go. The water is still pretty muddy (grey) here in the U.S.

Great coloring on your #91 FK btw 👍🏻
