What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

By hand using diamond sharpeners, stones, and abrasive paper last. Not much chance of butchering a knife if you do it by hand and inspect often. Speed kills ! 🤣
I will work on a knife for no longer than an hour and come back and pick up where I left off another time, again and again. Patience is the key 😊
Thank you 👍

Case large stockman for Tuesday. Brushed satin blades and back springs and more of a semi gloss finish that I rubbed out on the bolsters.
Dyed medium brown deep canyon bone over what was bright orange. The under tones of the orange gives the brown a nice warm color.
Defined all of the swedges to give a sharper transition ........ I reckon you could say Primble custom Case. 🐸 🐒🥳

First time carrying since receiving it from @Travman . I asked for a red wine color like a 70's Case. Travis absolutely delivered. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Travis. @Travman

Looks really nice to my eye ! 😊

You did an amazing job on that knife! I love everything about it. Lance

Thank you Lance ….. I am pleased with the way it turned out. I was actually considering a return on it before I went to work on it. Bright orange, black and natural white bone on the mark side. 😊

The backs side has some room for improvement 😂View attachment 2780747

Yes I reckon it does. Good luck ! 😂

This from a CALTRANS highway camera. It was like this both ways and snowing like the blazes for almost the whole trip.

At least you can still see past the hood ornament. 😁👍
I never liked not being able to see as far as the hood ornament ... TBH when the visibility is bad enough not to see much past the hood or less, it b time to park it. "Better late than never", after all. 😇

Will, that is a wonderful compliment to this knife. @Cosimo De Benedetto truly makes inspiring knives. His attention to detail and craftsmanship are something that boggles my mind. He did this work with minimal input from me. He just knows what to do and how to design and combine materials to make a great knife. It’s an honor that I don’t take lightly to carry and use his knives. This particular knife was a wonderful gift from @Rufus1949.
That's some knife, some maker and some man who gifted it 😍
