This one has aged from an off-white to a mellow creamy white over the past 10 years.

Very nice. 😁👍
Are those Rosewood covers?

Considerably different frame/handle and blade profile from her/his Old Timer and Uncle Henry cousins 😳 ... or are they uncles? 🤔
Is it the same size as the Old Timer 6/7/8OT/Uncle Henry LB7/8 (5 inch closed), or the smaller 5OT (~ 4.5 inch closed)?

Hittin the road in a few for Klamath Falls, Oregon for yet another appointment with a doctor - this time for Cindy. Sausage and eggs before we go. This knife for the belt. This'll be a pucker factor trip as it's raining like crazy here and snowing like crazy there and along the way.

I'd like to helpfully suggest that you combine your appointment days to cut your trips in half, but I know how making medical appointments works.

"If this is a medical emergency, hang up and call 911.
Your call is very important to us. Your call will be answered in the order in which it was received. You are currently number seventeen in line"

After dying the orange bone on my large stockman, I decided to tone down my orange (chestnut ) Case-Bose WT and used a dark brown dye. It really gave it a rich color, but, in a few days I might repeat for even more toned down. I'll be totin' the pair for Wednesday. 😊

I bought the Opi at a little backpacking shop in Champaign Illinois in '78 for a spring break trip on a short segment of the Appalachian Trail ~ started in Virginia, hiked the Maryland part, and stopped at the Pennsylvania line. Sadly, I never got back. On a different spring break, we went backpacking in West Virginia. Nobody I knew ever went to a beach in Florida for spring break.

If Opinels were made in Mayberry North Carolina, they would be called Opienels. If they were made in Greece, they would be Oopahnels.
