What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice one!
I've actually got my Lloyd with me today, in addition, as well! ;)
The 52100 steel is really great!

FES - Very nice one! I swoon over that blade shape. The big recurve, looooong clip, double pulls, and needle point...! WOW. And I'll bet its thin-and-flexy-ness is really nice in a blade that size. Love it!

Fantastic pictures there, the Green Bone on these Eurekas is complex and really enticing. It's a fine Spear too with Coping offering an excellent combo.
Must get mine back in the frame soon!

Thanks, Will

Thanks Will, do it! You know it makes sense:)

ddml - my apologies;) That Schrade is no slouch though!

I just got this one in the mail today. I've been trying to score one of these for a long while now. It's one of the darker variations, which in normal light looks dark brown or almost black. In the setting sunlight you can see the coperhead-ish color a bit better. I like it very much :D . I just need to modify the cap lifter to work because it does not open bottles as it is. Straight into the leather pocketslip it went!

Thanks guys! I'm really excited about this one. Now I just need to find out the best way to modify the cap lifter! I'm really impressed with the fit and finish on this one. No gaps, smooth all around, and with perfect pulls! This will make a great bbq or family cookout knife.

This is a bit tricky to explain, you could try laying the flat of the bottle opener on the top of the bottle, tilt the butt of the knife downwards until the hooked part of the opener catches under one of the pleats then lift..... You'll need a firm grip to stop the knife twisting. I've no idea if it'll work but it does with one of my bottle openers!

Very very nice, I know you've been looking for awhile now---happy that one came your way

I had and sold one---sellers remorse to say the least but comforting to know it went to a good home. I had to tweak mine with a dremel and it ended up being one of the best caplifters ever...

Congrats again on finding one.

You can use small files, like a needle file to remove material. I kinda chewed mine out on my "Imposter" Harness Jack, but it works!
