What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The mountains of Washington, South of Mount Rainier and just outside the wilderness area for Mount Adams. Our politics are goofy beyond belief, the state is getting over populated and the rain in the winter gets old but there is some spectacular scenery…
Absolutely gorgeous. I have the impression that the overcrowding and loopy goings-on are limited to certain western portions of the state, but I could be wrong. I can definitely understand the appeal to move up there.

Just got this beauty in today, and I absolutely adore it. I love the 68 White Owls, and I love GEC's stainless, so it's just perfect.

They made 12000 of these knives and Serialized them all and I got 1956 , which matches the year that I had a date with a young lady who is now my wife and has been for almost 65 years .

An old Victorinox, a much older Camillus #68, and a Klein #44037. A brother in law who works for an electrical distributor that carried Klein tools gave it to me. And I just realized it was quite a while ago. I remember cutting a walking stick and tent stakes with it on a Boy Scout campout when my sons were Scouts, and I was an Assistant Scoutmaster. That was nearly 30 years ago.
Some years later, I discovered Klein also made two smaller versions, the 44036, and 44035, so I tracked them down. Just because. Blatant materialism. 🙄

Victorinox Knife of the Week is a Florist, a Top Ten choice in this category:

Stockman of the Week is a big old Imperial Stockman with a Hammer brand shield (thanks, Tom). Not one of my Top Ten stockmans, but if it had round bolsters, it would definitely be in contention for the stockman "honor roll".
