Duncan is mellow this morning. I'm sure the land piranha will resurface at some point.

Making a Telecaster control plate. The knives were of no use. Something I can do at the kitchen table and still keep an eye on Dogbert.
The other day I slotted a bone nut ~ bone from the dog chew aisle at the store, of course, and installed tuners on the neck. There was some light whacking with a mallet, which promoted Mrs Fleschwund to warn me about her table. She will never let me forget the soldering iron burn on the antique dining room table from wiring up a previous guitar.

Got a guy over to weed whack the side of a hill that's too steep for me to manage what with my bum leg. Other than that, there's nothing on our agenda for today so it's a light carry again today - Buck 055 from 2006 with 420HC blade steel and impregnated birch wood handles. Sausage and eggs-up for breakfast.

It’s a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Cool and mild for the next several days🤞. Another college football Saturday after watching the Huskers lose yesterday evening they just can’t win division games. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Stag Saturday a couple of beauties. Have a great weekend folks! 😀

These pictures are from a few days ago but I’m carrying this Rough Ryder Large Scout again today.

I made my first ever attempt at peening a new pin after removing the bail. It’s a far cry from professional work but it’s holding so far and the pin doesn’t move in or out. I did learn a thing or two about how to do it better the next time.
