Frank, got one of those ~ you're right, they are indispensible. What I need is a soldering iron station to park the iron in. Or a third hand.
I should make one with a spring holder for a heat sink.
Or not do it at the dining room table. But when the wife's away...
I have cured baking laquer in the kitchen stove, and parkerized small parts on the stove top, so there's that.

I bought that exact TEW. But because it had a broken scale that was swinging on it's pin. I wanted to put walnut on it. And it was cheap!
