Nuts…….😁

You know I like to use traditional things particularly from my travels. 🏍️

Nuts from Marks and Spencer’s England.

Knife (local maker) from Brive de la Gailarde France.

Nutcracker (local maker) from laguiole France.

Very nice looking composition, attractive rustic tools too  Really like that French knife 😍

Nuts are tasty and healthy, good job you have that nutcracker to hand. I knew of an idiot who liked to show off by cracking nuts with his teeth, the teeth didn't last long :rolleyes: I'm lucky to have all my teeth intact, including wisdoms and not many fillings either- must be from using the nutcracker :D

I'm wanting to carry a big jack lately, so I want a straight-edged secondary knife.

These are all my sheepsfoot Barlows. Kutmaster, Made in Japan, Sabre Japan, and Sabre Japan.
I would carry the Kutmaster, out of pining for the fjords of Utica, but the springs are stronger and the blade less pinchable than on the Japanese ones.
Among the Japanese ones, effete aestheticism cries out for the long pull.

Practicality will soon call me back to the stockman.

And that's my Boker USA American Bicentennial Westward Ho jack.
