What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Off to the airport to snag my son and his son and daughter, which we are excited about.
I had hoped to have his guitar completed by now, but that aint happenin. Two tricky jobs to do ~ make a pickguard template and cut it out, and make the nut out of dog chew cow bone. The nut goes in that little slot between the headstock and fingerboard. It's a persnickety, meticulous job, at least for me. Besides the geometry between the neck and bridge, there isn't anything more critical for the playability.
I don't think he'd be able to fly home with it anyway ~ we'll drive it out in the summer.

On the chilly side this AM. Staying home tonight - getting too old and decrepit for any shenanigans at the stroke of midnight tonight. This Ebony SFO Bunny Knife manufactured by A.Wright in Sheffield for a dealer here in the U.S.A. should keep the gremlins at bay at midnight. Charizo and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

It’s going to be a cold and rainy day here in the City by the Bay🥶🌧️. Staying home where it’s warm and dry and will ring in the New Year with my beautiful bride. Too many drunk and stoned amateurs out tonight for me to take that risk. Anyway, keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday two from across the Pond. One from our Porch friend Will Power Will Power . Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve and a happy New Year 🎊.
