What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks! It doesn't do any heavy lifting but it does get used.

I just love the lines on that knife. (Is this considered a City knife?) The handle materials are excellent as well.
I’ve all ways been a fan of the looks of the stepped down handle, towards the butt end. Haven’t had the opportunity to own or try one yet, but one day!

Added to carry 03/05. The special mail call they had to give it to me was after sunset, so too late for pictures.
After lubing the joints and stropping, I added it to my pocket.

IF You're INTERESTED, there are additional pictures in the Newest Addition, and Thrifty Thursday threads. 🙂

Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Not much on the agenda other than watching some of the WBC the USA team plays later today. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Black Friday my newest addition with beautiful ebony handles. Have a great weekend folks! 😀

I bought this one years ago from Eldon Talley, the maker. He called it a City Knife. It's Mammoth Ivory and ATS-34. He was mentored by Steve Johnson. It is one of my favorites.

Well, it looks like you found the knife you've been looking for!
Very nice🤙
I had been looking for a Soldier as well, and found a good one at last year's Badger Blade Show.

Mitch, I am looking forward to cutting some of that soon!
Won’t be long Jeff.
I’m thinking about something for winter now the trees have been cut back.

That’s wonderful, Frank. And! an older one at that. Just purdy.
It's marked "2008". The good old days, when nobody knew what a GEC was, and you could pick and choose at your leisure from multiple patterns on a dealer's web site, if you could find a dealer that carried them. Even then, 440C offerings were rair, so I jumped on this one.
