I just love the lines on that knife. (Is this considered a City knife?) The handle materials are excellent as well. Thanks! It doesn't do any heavy lifting but it does get used.

You’d love living in San Francisco especially in the fog belt where I’m locatedI love the fog. It makes me feel like I’m in a surreal movie.

I bought this one years ago from Eldon Talley, the maker. He called it a City Knife. It's Mammoth Ivory and ATS-34. He was mentored by Steve Johnson. It is one of my favorites.I just love the lines on that knife. (Is this considered a City knife?) The handle materials are excellent as well.
I’ve all ways been a fan of the looks of the stepped down handle, towards the butt end. Haven’t had the opportunity to own or try one yet, but one day!
I can see where that would work.Something to brighten up an otherwise dreary, rainy day here in Michigan...

Very nice
I had been looking for a Soldier as well, and found a good one at last year's Badger Blade Show.
Mitch, I am looking forward to cutting some of that soon!
That’s wonderful, Frank. And! an older one at that. Just purdy. This doesn't get much pocket time because of it's size.
GEC 73 Pioneer Trapper in 440C and jigged black bone.

It's marked "2008". The good old days, when nobody knew what a GEC was, and you could pick and choose at your leisure from multiple patterns on a dealer's web site, if you could find a dealer that carried them. Even then, 440C offerings were rair, so I jumped on this one. That’s wonderful, Frank. And! an older one at that. Just purdy.
