What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Case Knife of the Week is a stainless Wharncliffe mini copperhead with blue jigged bone and red shield. I often think it's my best-looking knife.

Not a great pic but you all get the idea. Northfield 54w today and some fried crappie fillets. I didn’t catch these😩; our daughter caught them and brought the fillets over yesterday.

Hey, don't feel bad. Part of getting old is letting our kids help us. 😎
Catching the crappies for you is not as bad as spoon feeding you your oatmeal. 😁

Not a shield Case uses very often. I've only seen it used on knives with rosewood handles. I have a trapper with it. Any idea of why its called a "camper" shield?

I've got the 25ish year NEW Camillus stockman in pocket after having my face whittled on by the Mohs surgeon this morning. One slice and done. 🥳
Coffee and grilled Jalapeño Spam with salsa verde and shredded cheese for breakfast.

That’s a beautiful knife and sounds like a beautiful tasty breakfast.

Dang that sucks. I can deal with biscuits from a can, it’s the not scratch made gravy that is the real bad part. It’s hard to find good scratch made biscuits and gravy anymore without paying out the nose for it, or making them yourself.

Looks yummy.
Sadly, "Spicy"/"hot" ("spicy" includes Sweet Italian sausage 🙄😭) is a "no-no" unless u have your own hot sauce, garlic, crushed red pepers, salt, table pepper, Italian/Greek/Sicilian, Mexican spice mixes, etc. (i does) "bland" is a given for the "food" as served. ... I need to get some chili powder for when they serve that ... oh, and we is not allowed to share things like (real) salt, pepper, sugar, hot sauce, horseradish, hot peppers, garlic salt, buttery popcorn salt (they contain salt) I "play it safe" and don't offer more than granulated garlic.

Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about Steve afishhunter afishhunter . My Mom and Dad lived in assisted living in their last couple of years and my Dad's frequent question was "Where's the Spice"?. Toward his end, my Dad ate nothing with spice because if he did, he'd evacuate hmself at a velocity greater than that of a jet engine.
