What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks, Gary and Jeff, for the good thoughts about my little surgery and my Camillus. This one didn't even need any stitches, just a little cautery to stop the bleeding.
Vaseline to keep it moist under a bandage and after a week or so, good to go. Dressed down tonight and went light with the little Robeson sleeveboard.

The knife blade on your Leatherman looks almost like a lambsfoot, Jeff.:cool::thumbsup:
I ended up at the Leatherman website looking at the Bond and some other models. Now I have Leatherman ads coming up wherever I go online!

Glad the procedure was relatively quick, Jeff; hope you heal up fast and don't develop more trouble spots.:cool::cool:
My Dad, who lived to be 95, was a fair-skinned farmer working outside (without sun screen) April through November for his working life. He had lots of skin cancer procedures over his last 40 years, at least; I don't know if any of them were the Mohs procedure. (Kind of doubt it, since I think this is the first I've heard of Mohs.)

I think they call it a Sheepsfoot blade, Gary.

One of my original models of the Leatherman was known as "Tool". (The Leatherman, not me)
One of the tiny serrated hinge nuts fell off, and I sent it in (lifetime warranty) asking just for a new nut. Maybe they had none, because they sent me a brand new Bond. I guess it's their closest model to the original.

It's annoying and a bit unnerving when we're reminded that privacy in the land of the free is just an illusion in 2026. A VPN can get you a little more anonymity.

Mohs is the name of the procedure used to remove mostly non aggressive skin cancers, like basal cell.
They excise around it, slap a temp. bandage on you, and go look at it under a microscope. If they find cancer cells in the margin, they come cut away a little more. They keep doing that until the margin is clear.
Best way to minimize the carving on your face while still being sure they got it all.

Now I usually wear a hat outside.

I've got the 25ish year NEW Camillus stockman in pocket after having my face whittled on by the Mohs surgeon this morning. One slice and done. 🥳
Coffee and grilled Jalapeño Spam with salsa verde and shredded cheese for breakfast.

I go in tomorrow for a little mohs surgery myself Jeff, all part of living in S Florida! I’ll carry the Blue Rope Albers Jack I got from you in hopes for a one slice and done also!

Been there. Done that.
Has a high success rate. Will be raising some smoke for you anyway.
