I guess you'd call this old boy a Cigar Jack.
All I could find out about it was that a small group of cutlers acquired parts from New York Knife Co., ground off tang stamps, and stamped them Eagle Phila. (Crudely)
Then assembled them into various Frankenstein like configurations. I think the spear was supposed to be the main, because it has the tang stamp. But it is mounted behind the secondary.
No idea what shape the secondary was originally, because it's really worn. No snap on that one, but at least it's tight enough to be relatively safe.
Ugly and beat up, but so am I.

Nice find. Lots of character. I have an Eagle Phil that looks so good I don’t know why NYKC called it a second. I can still see part of the Hammer Brand on the tang. These old well used knives are fun to collect, I always wonder what stories they can tell. It’s like my Finn M39. The receiver is dated 1907. After WW1 Finland acquired a lot of Russian M1891 rifles and recycled the parts. My M39 was converted with a new barrel and stock 1942. So a 1906 M1891 receiver from Russia was eventually used against Russia in WW2.
This one has been gathering dust too long so in the pocket it went today.
