Question:
Since 2026 is the Semiquicentennial Anniversary of the USA, should I be toting my Imperial Bicentennial Stockman?

(difficult to believe (a) I stayed on the census long enough to see the Semiquicentennial 🤯. (b) That hollow bolster/clamshell stockman is 50 ("Earth") years old. 😳)

Edit:
I guess I will tote it on & off this "year"

That would be only fitting, Steve. Besides I always enjoy seeing pics of that knife when you do carry and post it.

Yep. A HE'LL of a lot less than MAC Tools wanted for it.
That's a MATCO logo ( MATCO was once the box manufacturing division of MAC before separating somehow in the late 70's ) but B&S sells the standard 4" executive for $40 and doesn't even seem to offer this exact model anymore.
I'm not even sure if MATCO actually sold these or if they were just a dealer / employee gift.

I remember them on the tool trucks back in '74/'75.
Snap-on had a Buck 110 or 112 around the same time ... for considerably more than the same knife without the "Snap-On blade etch. 🙄

Yes there were tool trucks that sold knives with their logo on them, I know the Schrade UH lockbacks were commonly offered by MAC.
I just can't find this particular MATCO, Bear MGC was founded in the early 90's and changed their name to Bear & Sons in the early 2000's so it's probably from the 90's.
