What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'de like to turn the blades blue like on my Queen city Canoe. I think after they patina for a while, silver polish takes the stains out and you get the blue affect.

Steve, if you ask over in Maintenance I'll bet you'll get some direct info on the exact procedure.

So true, Mike. I spent some time refining (read sharpening and scratching) the blades of my MM 5301 earlier today. The clip blade almost cut me just looking at it!

I never thought of calling sharpening and scratching "refining".. I like that

I have a few knives that were really refined when I was learning how to sharpen
