Very cool. Thanks for all those details! I have one. It was a gift from my parents around about that time frame, and you pointed out details that I had never really noticed. It also says "Pat Pending". I have always thought the blade steel was 440C, but have never gotten confirmation.

Customs shop buck?


I need to track down another 35 again, I have a few of the large 31s but traded off all of the 35s. There's a man at the loccal flea market that has a few in a pile, I should go buy a couple.
Sorry, I just saw this. No, it was offered by the Buck Collector's Club a few years ago. The wood is KOA, and the steel is 440C.
