What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Back home, had an excellent trip. These two were the most used knives and it shows. Some cleaning might be good idea. I guess they experienced some "heavy use" in their role. One thing I learned is that some people just can't understand that carbon steel knives need more care, so they are not those that you loan. I love these knives, but for the next trip I will get stainless steel. Anyway they shined in use, excellent tools both. I guessed that the knives at the house we rented would be butterknife dull and I was right, I even sharpened one of them to a serviceable edge. If you make food for 11 people good cutting tools are a must.

Pallarès make a lot of nice pocket and kitchen knives. Have no fear when using their stainless kitchen knives, I have an Ebony handled Office knife (paring knife) and its cutting ability is first rate. Had some great weather for your trip and the birds are all arriving which I like very much indeed.
