Another foggy start to the day here in the City by the Bay. Supposed to clear up but on this side of the City it’s a bit of a crapshoot. We’ve had it clear by midafternoon only to have the fog roll back in an hour later. Summer in the City . Keeping me company two from the vault. Have a great day folks!

Locking Knife of the Week is a modified Opinel No.6, while International Knife of the Week is a Mikov all-steel linerlock anchor knife from Czech Republic (thanks, Tom). Curious coincidence: these two knives could switch categories and still be a legitimate pair in my schedule!

As of late I've been carrying a true Soligen Boker Stag Copperhead since getting my hands on it. Just feels pretty dang perfect to me. The other one is a new Boker that quite honestly is nice also. I told myself that Stag was my final purchase since it seemed perfect yet curiouslty has had me picking up a few others including an absolute gem that came in today.

Case 75 today. If my pants didn't have utility pockets I believe I'd need a belt sheath for this one.

Back on BF today. Been visiting with my Cardiologist for an EKG and an Echocardiogram along with Labs etc.. Nooooooooooooo Finger Waves. Didn't hear the snap of a latex glove one time. Turns out I've got a weak aortic heart valve. Will be able to continue with my normal routines - just at a bit slower pace. Carrying this Case/Carhartt single blade G-10 Sowbelly today. Sausage and biscuits for breakfast.

Great pattern from Schrade
Mine is not a Ducks Unlimited with a cool blade etch. Just a regular 96OT. The handle tools, scribe and tweezers are real-deal tools, not SAK style grooming accesories.
I have had mine in my pocket with my others since 11:00 this morning. Duncan, our 9 mo. Old German Shepherd Dog, had a half inflated tick on the back of his neck. Right between his flat collar and the flea and tick collar.
A touch of a smoldering matchstick on it's butt, and a little twisting pull with the Schrade tweezers, and out it came.

Regrefully, I failed to get a photo of the filthy bloodsucker.

A LOT of folks seem to have that exact model/make (including me!), and rightly so. I think it's destined one day to be a coveted classic. Just a beautiful knife
