I really like the looks of that 1/2 Congress, I eyeball it every time you post it...
And BTW, You look good in GOLD!

Thanks pal, Elliott surprised me, the Northfield is actually the courthouse whittler the other two blades are pen & coping, Gec really hit it out of the park with this pattern, and the variants of it I've seen posted, I'm surprised they haven't done another run, almost every time I post it I get emails from people wanting to buy it from me, but it was my first fathers day gift from my daughter and wife, so it has a lot of sentiment to it....... I'm a sap when it comes to my little girl who just turned two yesterday:)

Took me a sec, but I remember that pic. Way back on page 680. Lookin good in gold, Pete

My short list, is a little shorter, I received my 1st fathers day gift early this morning, it's a #62 courthouse whittler in spring green. Not bad, since I became a father I've received two great knives as gifts from my daughter via my wife , my chestnut bone peanut for Christmas and now this one.
Made picking today's carry easy, always the nut, my new knife and the trad. of the month I need to carry a stockman so my small Schrade.

the exposed heads on the pivot pin is an unusual feature I had not noticed on other GEC's, is that a traditional feature, and what is its purpose?

that long pull spear is on my favorite Charlow, congrats!

It feels great to carry and use two quality products both produced less than two hours from my home:

Wow Kris, the scales are not so bright, it is looking better with age, IMO, my wife and daughter treat me very well, I'm extremely lucky.

Lets you adjust the pivot tighter (with hammer taps or a c-clamp) if it were to loosen with use of the screwdriver. Quite a neat feature and one I wish were incorporated more often.

AdBlock Plus is your friend!

If I'm not mistaken, I think Queen has also done this with their workhorse series?

Left front pocket and neck knife...

Right front pocket and hip...

I've been EDCing this little Peanut sized Ohta everyday for quite awhile now. I almost always have another knife or two with me, but this one is with me everyday.

Who wouldn't be, she's a sweetheart :) I didn't know it had been her birthday Pete, I'm sure you all had a great time. Happy days :)

I'm just off over to Sheffield to see my little girl, who turned 24 on Friday. I'm still a sap for her too :)

Thought I'd take my Boker with me,
