What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got it, thanks! Wish the good folks at Hewlett Packard would hire you as a technical writer, as your instructions were much easier to follow than what I received with the printer I just bought from them. Thanks again.

Sarah's the bestest!

Jack ,does that tortoise shell Boker have carbon steel blades ? Is it a 7474 model? I've been thinking of buying one but can't find a review .Thanks

Sorry, I missed this (and a few other posts) for some reason. Yes, it's the 7474 with the carbon steel blades. I really like it, you'll find some pics of it in use in the 'Workout' thread

Am fighting off a cold but Jack got me in a Boker/coins mood with his beautiful pix! Very nice bud!

This morning, I'm watching the world wake up. Some trees are in my way!

I have my Farmer in my pocket.

And a Terrio Lite Bushcrafter to keep me and my dad's Winchester 1894 company. That Terrio is a fine skinning/meat processing knife. I may need another with some bone or horn handles!

The Arno Bernard caught my attention last night so these two were with me today...

Bernard's finish is exemplary, yes? I'm not sure I could bring myself to use one.

Funny how a knife suddenly catches one's attention, eh?
Know just what you mean kitty kat! :D

Yes it is. Beautiful weather today as well. Warmer than it has been, which isn't good for hunting, but I've been out here for most of a week and later today I must head home (and really check out my Blade Forums Knife!).... so, it'll not be good hunting, but a nice day to enjoy.

Today carry includes a Doc Hagen Lanny's Clip in Sambar stag and CPM154 and a Boker Beauty with pinned and dovetailed massaranduba wood handles and Damasteel blade and bolsters.

Thanks Sarah, yes he makes a beautiful knife :) This one has a small pin crack in the mark side warthog ivory, so it was actually a little bit easy to start using it...that and my Lloyd from Chiefs GAW...seeing how the Ivory held up, and the little character marks from it's previous two owners make that knife somehow very special, and I intend to put some character marks on the Arno Bernard :)
Oh, and I love that hood ornament!

Thanks Jack. I met up with Doc a few months ago, and by chance, I had this knife in my pocket. Always nice to have a makers knife in the pocket when I see them.
