What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

 on both!!!!!! The Wenger SI...one of the best Soldier combos!!!!!!

Indeed! The SI is a great knife. I really like it. It has a little different appearence than the Pioneer - not just because of the bail.

I think that knife will be gone at the end of this year when Wenger is closing...

The Bark on that goes marvelously with the ripples in the Damascus, choice knife! Nice and unusual blade shape too.

For some reason I reached for the Case today, and I'm glad I did.

Finally took a pic of this small Boker (that I bought in May! :D), it's a nice little knife:

Hope John doesn't mind me answering before he gets a chance, but... Those are horn handles. Personally, I'm quite fond of knives handled with horn -- buffalo or cow, or sheep of various types. It's not seen as often on American knives, though; more European makers use it.
Yes, there's a small gap there. These are old knives, and horn can sometimes shrink a little over the span of several decades. Certainly doesn't affect the functioning of the knife.
These two are some of my favorites that have been posted here, in recent memory. I just love 'em! Thanks for showing them, Chief! :D

Thanks Alex! Information adds to our enjoyment of these old beauties and is always appreciated.

Broke out the tripod today for this unusual old OVB whittler.
