It's a crack :-( happened soon after I was gifted it, only knife I've ever cracked go figure, I think I cracked it crawling on a concrete floor with it in my pocket, soon after I won a sheath option from Al Dodge, so I had it made for this knife, bummed me at first, but it adds a little character, at least that's what I tell myself
