What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Back to the Houndstooth today.

Hmm, checking my pockets;
Case amber bone CV Canoe, just arrived yesterday, it was bigger than I was expecting, and the blades looked a little boring at first, but it's rapidly growing on me, it's like carrying a 2 layer Sak with no tools. Cut my first apple at lunch, and the patina has a nice start

I'm going to like the canoe pattern...

Case mini stockman, SS blades, bonestag scales, I got it for dad, but he never carried it, never used it, now I carry it in his memory

Opinel #6; well loved, well worn, nice dark patina

Victorinox pioneer; my longest owned pattern, had this one for a few years now, to replace the Alox Soldier that fell out of my pocket years ago :(

Buck Ecolite 110; I consider it a traditional, so what, I carry it 'cause I like it

I'm still suffering from the modern/tactical mindset of Two is one, one is none, hence the multiple backups, I'd like to trim down to no more than two slipjoints and one locker

Today, I'm carrying this pair in honor of Wooden Wednesday.
As usual, a large one and a small one.

Nice work on that Queen Heritage, wish I could get mine - Rosewood Spear, Ebony Clip like that

Today Radio Knife in Red Bone, great quality item.

Thanks, Will

Carried these two today---the Laconico in a KSF sheath in my back pocket along with a Maratac AAA Flashlight. The EO Scout tucked nicely into my front left pocket .

Wow that fixed blade is just beautiful. Very elegant and I like that size.

man, i haven't taken any updated pics, i should be able to this weekend.
that being said, i have been going strong with dynamic duo. Wenger Soldier SI and Texas jack. all day everyday.

one thing i have learned is ...i am a "main blade guy" i almost NEVER use the pen blade or secondary blades on any of my knives, i was beginning to wonder why i bothered to carry multiple blades on my knives (the sak is different, cause the other "blades" are tools and therefore were used on occasion for various other duties). But over the last 3something weeks, i have found myself using the pen blade on my Texas jack a lot more than i used to and alot more than i expected to. So that's a nice little "lesson learned" that has come out of this little experiment. Other than that, no new revelations or surprises, still feeling a tad bit over knifed as opposed to under knifed when it comes to day to day urban stuff. But we are still early in this 5 month experiment, who knows what else time will teach us.

Beautiful Paul

I looked at my watch wrong and got up at 3.00am rather than 6.00am! But I'm carrying the Queen Canoe PMEW sent me by the light of the silvery moon! :D

OK that's funny Jack :p But a little scary at the same time because it's happened to me before :o Also, thats a gorgeous Canoe .

Thanks you A.R.M, It's one I originally bought for my Son and he didn't care for it to much so we made a trade---I think I came out ahead on this one ;) It seems to be more special now that Ray focuses more on folders versus fixed blades now days. Actually I'm not sure if he makes fixed blades anymore

This right here is one of my biggest pet peeves and one of the reasons why I never leave home without a knife! Why? Why for the love of Pete can't coffee lids come properly punched and ventilated?

On another note, the RNG picked number 11 so I've been carrying this guy. I haven't carried it much because I didn't want to lose the awesome etch, but I decided that I need to honor Charlie and put it to some honest work.
