That is one seriously sharp knife.

Thanks Andy, it is indeed, quite sharp, that was a push cut down through the phone book, knife needs to have very good geometry to do so ;)

Seeing that beautiful 087 makes me want to carry mine. It's an XX era in very good condition and I just can't bring myself to use it. Great set of knives.

Thanks it's a 10 dot (1970) it was pretty minty when Paul Hilborn gifted it to me , I don't shelf anything, the #15 Charlow was new also when Jon Slider gifted it to me  some really great folks around here.

Found this Sword brand junior cattle knife at a show today. Composite handles with very little shrinkage. The edge on the main looked like someone dragged it through gravel but with that old carbon steel it only took a few minutes to get a nice sharp microbevel on there. Best thing about this one is that all three blades are tight with excellent walk & talk. More pictures to come later.

Today I am carrying a cheap Tomahawk brand imitation Buck 110.
Despite it's inexpensive price and cheap quality; this particular one is quite useable and hardy. It's my beater knife.

Good news on your Pioneer!!!!

The Schrade+ is actually pretty good IMO. Schrades are ground thin and the Schrade+ blades sharpen up nicely, hold a decent edge and have always given me good service (sorta like SAK steel)...nothing like their 1095, but I have better luck with it than Case's stainless. I have used Schrade+ for years on Uncle Henry's so no surprises.

Recently bought a Schrade+ yellow trapper and I'm liking it a lot too!!!!
