What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hello my friends.

Still keeping walking the traditional path, despite not being around much.

Here is my Wooden Wednesday stalwart, gifted to me by Duane.

Always a joy to carry this one sir, thank you.

Wow, you folks sure were busy yesterday! :)

That's a neat peanut Jack, I love celluloid!
Simplicity for me today...

Thank you sir, lovely ebony :)

Those Boker Barlows always look good, and that is a beauty my friend

Super fine pair today, Jack! That:) peanut is a jewel!

Thanks Gev :)

Jack - Excellent Charlow and that little nut is very unique.

Thank you sir, that is the first Charlow I received, and it was a gift from Mr C himself. I am very pleased with my new Peanut too :)

JackBlack - that is an awesome peanut!

Thanks a lot Jennifer

At a funeral today. This was a beautifully slim knife for suit carry.

Sorry for your troubles Paul

I´ve had a hard day today. It was the first working day after two months from being off from work due to baby Max. It was propably the greatest time in my life until now - these last two months :)

So with a heavy heart I went to work today .... Queen Gunstock Jack was on my side

... and a Vic Swisstool Spirit on my belt.

It's so hard to leave them that first time isn't it Andi? I'm sure Max was glad to have his Papa home at the end of the day  Nice knife and pic my friend :)

Still working on Primble-izng this apple. It was caked with white frosting (paint), a little rust, and some black slag. The bolsters appear to be brass (?), so I am going to slowly work on them. Most of the paint is removed, a few flecks in macro remain, and the rust is beaten back.

This is a pattern I have long sought ofter and one I think even Lyle could love.

Fantastic Gev, you're doing great work there pal

The first of the wild berry offerings

Pete

Great stuff Pete

Jack - That's an interesting and attractive peanut. Congrats on winning it! Barry's pocket slip and the ebony Charlow are great additions too.

I carried this one today for the first time although it stayed out of my pocket more than it did in my pocket. :D

Thank you Stephen, that's a beautiful Charlow :)

Nice to see you checking in young man ;)

My 'dead skunk' Calf Roper has been a good companion with some projects lately. The colors make it easy to spot, be it in a bunch of palm leaves or pieces of leather
Was the only knife used in making the sheath in the picture.

Always love to see the Walnut Sheep foot and Duane is a fine member here.:)

Wife says we're going out for dinner so swapping over to this before we head out.
Some really nice stag on that one Linus!:)

Beautiful picture Jennifer and a nice knife as well!:)

Carrying an old favourite today
A very nice picture Mr. Black. We have some yellow fields like that in the spring time.:)

For those of you who commented on my old as found Boker Barlow yesterday, thank you and I was glad to see that I was not the only one who liked it. ;):D

W. Saynor Day 2

Looking wonderful Gevo and I thought you were remodeling a house. Now I find that instead, you are resurrecting old knives! I use the tip of an exacto knife and my high powered close up glasses, to get those little stubborn pieces of paint out of crevices in the scales. ;):)

I finally got around to cleaning up this little 808 today.
All ready to ride around with me tomorrow.

Nice job and a fine little knife Rachel.:)

Nice slicer Jennifer.
Thanks. It does make quick work of my oranges, apples and tomatoes.

Beautiful picture Jennifer and a nice knife as well!:)
Thanks. What are you carrying today? Did I miss it? I bet you're probably still trying to decide. :) Oh the peril of so many great choices!

W. Saynor Day 2
If it is too hot for that little beauty in TX I know a little cooler place where it could recover! ;) Awesome work. Where are the pics of the blades? Hope I haven't missed them. Come on, please…I hate to beg but I'm certainly not beyond it.

Your not kidding, it is HOT here, even in the shade. I am still recovering...lol. Thanks for the compliment!! You have not missed the blade pics, I must get back to work before Primble flogs me. I promised to have some up soon: they still need some work. Maybe late tonight. Thanks, Jennifer!!
