wow-thats nice.
Sunday is Fathers Day- NSW time.
Unfortunately my presence will be required at the salt mine.
I have therefore initiated an "early bird" scheme. I call it Dad's Dereliction of Duty Day.It takes place the day before. Basically it means I can do whatever I like without any interference from family or friends unless they are also dads. As you can imagine it will involve beer, fire, meat, veggies, bread ,fruit,a nice Shiraz, more beer.

I have readied the quest knife and pocketed the grizzly cut 73 for this eminent event.
cheers

I've been carrying these 2 to work for the last few weeks.

I have to give another big thankyou to Markesharp for the sodbuster, it's doing it's job very well out in the vineyard at work. It's a pattern that I had always wanted to get, but I wasn't a fan of the synthetic scales that most come with. The bone on this one is great!

Sorry for the bad pictures, one of these days I'll bother to take a picture in daytime, with proper lighting! :D

I don't drink much Beer , but when I was a younger bloke I traveled around the world working where I could and living the lifestyle that many only dream of .
During my travels I found Newcastle Brown Ale .
To this day it is my favourite and although its expensive here I always try to have one on a sunny Saturday afternoon .

Got to love those single clip barlows.

Jack - terrific knives! If you don't mind, what's the story with spade shaped notch/backdrop in this photo? Seems to be a well greased gear in there. My apologies if you've explained in the past.

As for me, I'm back to carrying a single knife today. I'm really liking it and it fits well in my watch pocket. :)

Very nice!

Jack Black - wonderful carries today!:thumbup::)

Thanks a lot folks :) Stephen, that is part of the mechanism for opening a canal lock. Usually the cut-out, to allow frequent greasing, is simply done, but I found this one on an old lock three-rise lock ladder (3 sets of locks together) near Leeds

It's not so cheap even here anymore Ken, and I'm told is not the same since they switched breweries a while back. Enjoy your Dog my friend

I'm out on one of my adventures today, but the weather is so vile I've had to repair to the pub! I'm carrying these two today, gifted to me by two very fine gentlemen when I first started posting here regularly

Thanks Duncan and Pete :)

Just my plain ole' blue sodbuster today.

I'm looking through here, I really need to get something in good bone or stag. There are some beautiful pieces floating around.
Hmm.... Do I jump on one of the bone sodbusters case has out now? Maybe I should try a trapper or stockman? There are always peanuts. Hmmm.... Decisions, decisions....

Does anyone know if there's anything with a cap lifter that will fit the bill?

I'm carrying this sort of in honor of ThievesLikeUs, newly arrived Wiseman barlow, at least it's an easy way to pick a knife to carry today.:D
