What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

100% agreed on that! Also digging the bottle opener & beverage of choice! Have a good weekend everyone!

Peter

Everything Peter said Kris---outstanding knife, bottle opener and fantastic picture:thumbup:

What a beautiful knife dressed in fine stag. I love the image too. I will say I am a bit jealous over this one. Thanks for sharing it Kris.

Chris

If I could only use one word to describe that knife it would have to be Gnarly! Very nice Kris.

Thank you gentlemen for the kind words, the knife opens and closes smooth as glass, excellent fit and finish.

These two are with me this morning, Lanny Clip from Doc Hagen in CPM 154 and Desert Ironwood burl along with a Diamond Edge cattle knife by Tom Ploppert in stag and CPM 154.

Have a great weekend

Got my rust red pony jack and my peanut today. I have carried this peanut everyday since July 5th in my watch pocket. I never understood the peanut in the watch pocket, but now it is second nature to me. It's so handy and easy to get to when it's in that little pocket.

Finishing up the carb this morning with a Green Cadet and the Old Cross Pioneer..... waiting on the mail lady to bring some new knives!

This evening is a BBQ get-together at a friend's house. It's a Red Bone day here... :)

The trusty Radio Jack with bottle opener will certainly be in it's element for sure, along with my newest baby - a 1965-69 era Case XX #6232 Texas Jack that was gifted to me by our very own Paul Hilborn. :)

Not totin' per se, but today I am spending time on this cleaning/restoration project. Many Q-tips, paper towels, toothpicks, and an old toothbrush were harmed in the making of these pictures...:D

Very interesting knife! What is it? Looks like you've done a good job cleaning it up. That's some beautiful stag too!

Thanks! Sheffield horseman's knife (H.G. Long & Co.). My amateur dating efforts place it around the 1880s. I think it sat in someone's sock drawer for 135 years...there is corrosion but the original edges are all there and the springs are all strong.

Wow, that's amazing! Congrats! I like new knives but there's just something about the old ones. Have a great weekend.

These two have been with me today ... seems to be an Alox day today - not knowing that I joined the trail :D :p
