What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jack - I really like the Ebonite J Rodgers sheepsfoot. Very handsome and interesting knife.

Mike - glad to hear that you're liking the Northwoods.

Jennifer - lovely photo today.

Paul - a truly wonderful knife to carry and I'm sure one that you treasure.

Bloefield - beautiful Old Timer. A dumb question if you don't mind but one that I've always been confused by and thought you might be able to answer for me. Is it 8OT or 80T? Thanks in advance.

Smithhammer - great combination and beautifully photographed.

Duane - you and Brian are in a tie so far for most colorful carries of the day. Two very nice looking knives.

Whetstone39 - I certainly wouldn't object to your Charlow. ;) Very nice.

Dan - very nice!

Primble - well you already knew that I loved the IXL, but then you had to dig down in your rabbit hole and pull out that magnificent XX Barlow too.:mad::barf:;):):D You've inflicted far more than a small twinge of jealousy upon me friend. :beaten:

I hope everyone has a great day! My carry for the day below:

OT = Old Timer, so an 8OT is their model 8 Old Timer. Just a tip: If you're looking to pick one up on the secondary online market you have to search for both 8OT and 80T. You aren't the first to be confused by that stamp, and many are marked as 0T.

Old and in the way asked

I believe it's a #8 Old Timer. Here's a 33OT [#33 Old Timer"

Thanks, Stephen. Your Primble is top notch. Better hide that from you know who!

Just found this one at an old store where they sell lots of odds and ends. It needed a new home, so I'm going to clean it up and drop in my pocket with the peanut.

I can't seem to find a tear emotion icon - snif snif. I am going to have to send a letter to the auction management over this.

I will have to admit that the ISW does twang/twinge me a little tiny bit. :o

oops - what's that I heard - I think it was my mail call for the day - ohh my - a beautiful old Ulster in my mailbox!!!!! It is about to knock my eyes out!:eek:

Very kind, but IMO, Primble's IXL takes the brass ring. That is just a lovely knife.
