Great knife, and great photo, Luciano. The pic really captures the form, texture and color of that classy Menefee, and the background is perfect.

i rotate my (traditional) edc between a buck 301(1old and 1new), buck creek copperheard(paid 75$ for it at a pawn shop and it had never been sharpened), camillus "boyscout" style(got at the same pawn shop for 6 dollars), the 34 old timer (went to a thrift store and found a step stool/toolbox filled with junk and tools with a price tag of 7$ on it and when i got it out to my truck i looked a little deeper and found the 34ot), a frost cutlery congress(had to have because it has blue bone handle scales), a buck 373 stockman that my wife got for me on our honeymoon, a 25 old timer with 2 blades that i've had for 16 years, and a schrade 7 ot that i got in mint condition with sheath at a thrift store for 5$.

The nice thing about wearing cargo shorts is the availability to carry extra blades. Today I have these.

Hi Mack,

What pattern is that one in the middle? I haven't seen that blade configuration before and the frame almost looks like a copperhead but not really.

It's a mini Copperhead. The angle of the pic may be throwing it off.
I recently stopped in a knife shop and had them sharpen it for me. They got it razor sharp but for some reason turned the tip up slightly. I was at first really ticked but after using it for a while I kinda like it.

Three damn fine knives there Mack:thumbup: That Pen is a diamond.

Today, Queen Cutlery Teardrop. Long time favourite, bit heavy but really nicely done.

Yowza! That pen is something else! Look at that stag! And those teeny little bolsters! That is old-school cool, for sure.

Today I have my Tribal Spear, a Case small gunstock in stag, and a Case (Standard Knife Co.) single-blade 005 pattern barlow. I need more pockets!:p

i did it!:D i bought the case middle stockman in blue jigged bone. i am now suffering from shoppers remorse. the good thing is i'll get over it and have a bad*ss knife! i have been wanting a quality blue bone knife FOREVER. until just a month ago i finally got a blue bone knife(frost cutlery) i felt like i had been gouged after paying 20 bucks for it:barf:. if i hadn't seen it in person at a fair i would never have paid 20$ for it. i paid about 42$ for the case blue stockman.

I got this one in the mail yesterday. It's in my pocket today. Courtesy of Jason Baker's give away. It is one sweet little gem.

that is a great looking knife. i really like it.. what model is it??

i am slowly starting to lean more towards traditional folders... this thread certainly isn't helping either...:o

colt knives sure look nice and you can't beat the price. i really don't care about all the fancy expensive exotic steels anymore. it's just a bunch of hype(not to say they aren't good steels). i have a spyderco in zdp189 and it is unsharpenable(and i can sharpen anything), you would be more succesful wearing the stone down than getting the knife sharp. if you can sharpen a knife easily it is much better.

i love cargos for the same reason. if i didn't mind all the weight i would have my pockets loaded with knives to where they looked like a squirrel with nuts in its cheek, but then again far to many people are intimidated by knives. everyone thinks i am psycho for carrying 2 or 3 at a time.

One fixed and one folder - always. Folder takes on 95% of the cutting and the fixed is there for when it counts. Today it's a Case mini Copperlock and a Snody carbon fiber Menace. Tomorrow I think it's gonna be either my Northfield Toothpick or my Bose/Case Dog Leg Jack along with a Bark River Gunny. Ha. thank god it's the weekend and I can go bigger.
